Questions, answered.
Everything to know about your PawPlusMe portrait, from two photos to a digital download.
How much does a portrait cost?
One downloadable digital portrait costs US$9.90, paid once through PayPal. Your total is shown before you authorize payment. See pricing details.
What do I receive after portrait payment?
You receive one downloadable digital portrait made from your selected person photo, pet photo, scene and visual finish. Your private order page shows progress and provides the download when the image is ready.
Do we need to be in the same photo?
No. Upload one photo of you and a separate photo of your pet. PawPlusMe uses AI to bring you together in your chosen scene and style.
What photos work best?
Use one clear photo of a person and one clear photo of a pet. Faces, eyes and distinctive markings should be visible, with good light and as little blur as possible. Avoid screenshots with heavy text, strong filters or a face covered by another object.
What happens if I upload the photos in the wrong boxes?
The browser checks which image appears to contain a person and which appears to contain a pet. If the pair is simply reversed, it can swap them automatically and tell you. If both photos appear to be people or both appear to be pets, you will be asked to replace the incorrect image.
How is AI used?
After verified portrait payment, the selected photos and creative choices are sent to an image-generation model to create the combined portrait. The consent shown before checkout asks you to confirm that you have permission to use both photos and agree to this AI processing.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required for the current portrait flow. The browser saves your orders on that device, and each order also has a private link. Anyone with the private link may be able to view the order, so keep it safe.
Can I leave while the portrait is being created?
Yes. Keep the private order link or return through “Your portraits” on the same device. The order page can be reopened to check progress and download a completed image.
Can I request a redo?
A generation interrupted by a technical failure can be retried on the same paid order without another portrait payment. Preference-based remakes are reviewed individually; unlimited free remakes are not included. Contact contact@pawplusme.com for help or read our refund policy.
Can I order a framed print or mug?
Yes. You can request a keepsake separately from the US$9.90 digital portrait. A 12 × 16 inch Red Oak framed print starts at US$69.90 and a black 11 oz mug at US$24.90. Delivery is currently limited to supported addresses in the contiguous United States and Washington, DC. Availability, shipping, applicable tax and the final total are confirmed in your private quote. The studio reviews print artwork before sending a separate PayPal payment link; paying for the digital portrait does not order a physical item. Production is confirmed separately after payment. See pricing.
Do digital portrait storage limits also apply to a keepsake request?
A requested keepsake uses a separate private record and artwork copy for quotation, studio review and fulfilment. Those records may be retained as needed for the physical order, support and accounting. See our retention policy.
How long are my photos and portrait stored?
Photos and portraits for a paid order are kept for 30 days after payment. An unpaid draft that has not entered payment processing expires after 24 hours. If a payment is still processing or its result is unclear, we may keep the associated photos for up to 30 days from the start of payment processing to confirm payment and deliver the portrait. Download your completed portrait before its retention period ends. To request earlier deletion, email contact@pawplusme.com. See our retention and deletion policy.
Which pets are supported?
The current photo check works best with common pets, especially cats and dogs. Other animals may still be used by the image model, but the browser may not classify them reliably before checkout.
